Busy Environmental Permitting!

We have recently issued to the EA a Bespoke Permit to utilise the heat produced by a Biomass Boiler installed in the North West to dry De-Inked Paper Pulp which can then be used as an alternative for animal bedding. Over the next 6 months once fully operations we intend to market the dried material accordingly.

Electronic Waste Recording

Currently we are managing 45% of our waste collections electronically and look to move this to 100% by April 2017. Having developed our own in-house bespoke system we can now track individual waste collections electronically. Using technology similar to that used by a parcel delivery service and adapting this to ‘waste collections’ allows us to monitor real-time waste movements. Electronic tags are placed at the producers site which are pre-loaded with the full postal address, SIC codes, EWC, and hauliers WCL.
